Two weekends ago we went to Snowflake for Josh's Farewell. It was such a good weekend. It was nice to see family and to be part of such a special time in his life. We are so proud of Josh and the good choices he has made. He is such a good example to all of us. He will be a wonderful missionary and although we will miss his smiling face and kind spirit we are so happy and excited for him.

Fun.
What happens when Deagan and Treyden find a mud puddle?? See for yourself....
Last time we were in Snowflake Deagan and Dane had the job of washing the trucks, and of course by the time it was all over my boys were both in the mud. And, I just watched... I didn't even try to stop them. I just sat and took pics. They had so much fun, until it was time to spray them down. That, they didn't like so much...
Takin' a break.... (it's not really open)
They are both definitely ALL BOY. I wish I had half their energy. It was a hard day for both of them...

Brothers
Our boys get along pretty good, and they like each other most days. But, today they were being nicer to each other than they usually are. I thought it should be captured since it really doesn't happen as often as I'd like. They sat together like this for ten minutes. Smiling at each other and carrying on a conversation...
Deagan doesn't have very much patience with Treyden. He doesn't understand why he wants to do everything Deagan does and why he follows him around everywhere. But, he is trying. He is always reminding me how hard it is being a big brother. "Being a big brother is hard, but sometimes it's fun, so that's why I still like it."
I love my boys, especially when they are getting along. It makes things so much easier :)

Family Pictures
While we were in Snowflake for our sealing we had our family pictures taken. We had Kate Lines, a friend from school take them. I have been waiting all week to see them. She did a fabulous job, as always. So if you would like to see them check them out on her blog... Thanks so much Kate. We LOVE them. Can't wait to see the rest!!

Families Can Be Together Forever...
The week before last was such a special week for us. On Thursday Dev and I celebrated our 4th anniversary. We went out to dinner and stayed at the bed and breakfast in Snowflake. It was a nice little break and nice to have a little time to ourselves. I can't believe it has been 4 years already. Time has gone by so fast.
On Friday we went to the temple and did our endowments. And since Josh is getting ready to leave on his mission he did his too... it was such a special night and having our family and friends there with us made it even better.
Then on Saturday Dev, the boys and I were sealed. We have been waiting a long time for this day to come and we are so happy that it finally came... It was such an awesome day. Words cannot explain. Dev and I were a little worried about how the boys would behave, but they did so good. Deagan still talks about it everyday and wants to go back. I hope he always feels that way. Grandad did the sealing. Having him and Grandma there made things that much more special. I am so grateful for my family and I love them so much and I am so grateful to my Heavenly Father for the opportunity to go to the temple and be sealed to them for Eternity.

Thank you so much to everyone who was there to share our special day. It really meant a lot to have you all there. We are grateful for all of you and grateful for everyone who helped us get here. It was such a good weekend and so good to see family and friends we don't see that often. And of course, the food afterwards was delicious! You can always expect good food from the Hancocks!

The boys were not up for pictures afterwards... can you tell??

Lately...
I have been terrible at updating my blog lately. I seem to go through phases. Sometimes I do really good and then I slack off.... there has just been so much going on lately the blog has been put on the back burner... But, everyone is asleep and the house is quiet so now is my chance to finally get a post done! So here is a little of what we have been up to...

Better play in the mud while you can boys, because soon the dirt and weeds will be no more! Atleast that's what I am hoping....
Ridin' the four-wheeler with Dude and Grammy. Deagan has to do this atleast 100 times everytime we are up there...
We bought some sand for the sandbox :)
We planted a garden. Here are the boxes Dev built me. He did a good job. Now we are just hoping something will grow. This is our first garden so we will see...We got everything planted, but so far it's not looking good... we may get a few things, but probably not everything... Deagan loves it though...
We have been doing work on our yard and it still looks like we haven't done anything. We definitely didn't realize what we were getting ourselves into when we bought a house with absolutely NO landscaping done... it's a lot of work and it's definitely not cheap! But, we are getting there... slowly. Our goal this year is to get the backyard finished. We have been getting it all ready for grass :) I am super excited for that. So, hopefully we can get that done SOON. Before it gets too hot!
The boys played in the mud. There is always mud to be played in when your yard is nothing but dirt and weeds... this was Treyden's first time in the mud, and he LOVED it. He started getting tired of it once his shoes were covered and he couldn't walk though. They both had a ball.

Lovin' This Nice Weather and a Late Birthday Present
The weather has been gorgeous and we are lovin' it. The boys especially. They have been able to get lots of car rides in....

Cruisin'

And this is the new swingset! We went in half with Dev's parents and got it for the boys for their birthdays. They LOVE it. It took awhile to get here and about a day and half to put together. But, it's up and getting good use. The sandbox still needs some sand in it though... Thanks so much Grammy, Dudey and Uncle Dane for coming and putting it together!!

Deagan loves the slide.... and the steering wheel of course...

Treyden asleep in his swing. So sweet.
It is so nice to finally have some sunny weather. I was getting sick of the rain. Hopefully it wont get too hot too quick though.
