Keeping Up With the Madness
K, so in case anyone was wondering if we have fallen of the face of the Earth... no we haven't. Our computer has been broken for a couple of weeks now and I feel so lost! Haha. Not that I would have had much time to be on it anyway... since oh we got a house!!! Yep, Dev and I are officially home owners. We are so excited and relieved that the process is finally over! It has been painful and everything that could go wrong has... not kidding! So, we have been busy moving and all that fun stuff. We have not even had a chance to sit down and breath. It has been crazy aroud here and I am VERY ready for it all to calm down and for things to get back to normal. Thank you so much to everyone who helped us move, you were all such a big help. There is no way we could have done it without you! It was great seeing you all and we miss you already! I will definitely get pictures posted as soon as I can. I am not sure when we will be getting a new computer so until then... I hope you are all doing well.

He's Back!!!

Finally our happy, loud, crazy and wild little boy is back! It's about time! We've missed you. It's been way too quiet around here. We are so happy you are feeling like your old self again. I never thought there would come a time when I preferred all your messes and wild rampades over a nice clean house and the silence.

Biggest Loser Finale!
Woo Hoo! Yay Ali! The first ever female winner of The Biggest Loser. She lost 112 lbs. and looks awesome. I loved this season of The Biggest Loser, it was full of surprises and I loved that they played it in couples. Everyone did amazing... it is so crazy to see all of their before and after shots. What inspirations!

It's A Special Day
Today is mine and Devin's second anniversary! Woo Hoo! With all the craziness going on around here, we nearly forgot! No big plans for the evening, we will probably just order some dinner from Su Casa and call it a night. Which is fine with me, I would much rather stay home and have a nice dinner than take Deagan out and fight with him the whole time. I must admit though he has been doing much better about going out to dinner.
These two years have been amazing! I feel so lucky to be married to Dev. He is my best friend. We have learned so much together and have accomplished so much. I am so proud of where we are today and the things we have done. We are setting more and more goals for ourselves and I know that together we will accomplish them all. These years have flown by. It is so crazy, it feels like just yesterday. We have had so much fun together and I am looking forward to many many many more fun and amazing years. I love you Dev! Happy Anniversary.

Happy Monday!
Deagan was not feeling any better this morning when he woke up so the first thing I did was call his pediatrician and made him an appointment. He has had a cold since Wednesday, but it has gotten worse these past few days. So, first thing we got to do this morning was head over to the Dr. which he is normally pretty excited for, crazy I know... she has a lot of cool toys in her office, and a big bus with a steering wheel so of course he doesn't mind going there at all. Today was not his day though, we get there and there is a little girl sitting in "his" seat playing with the steering wheel which immediately started the tears. Then we walk by the bucket of suckers on our way back to see the Dr. and oh my goodness... he was not happy that we walked by and didn't grab one. He cried pretty much the whole time we were there. That just goes to show how bad he was feeling, he has been so good about going to the Dr lately, he never cries. Come to find out he has double ear infections... poor baby, I would be crying too! We got him some meds so hopefully he will start feeling better soon. How has your day been so far?

Busy, Busy, Busy, but Still Having a Good Time
It has been a busy week in the Hancock household and there is no sign of it slowing down anytime soon. Besides my normal household chores I had a sick kid, I was sick myself, Zoe had a vet appointment, and Dev was working out of town and getting home late we started packing this week! Which as most of you know is NO fun... but it has to be done. Our house is set to close on the 23rd so we have got to get our butts in gear! We have a lot to get done before than. Our house is slowly starting to feel more like a house and less like a home, all the things that once gave it that "homey" feeling have now come off the walls and shelves and into boxes. Dev is not to thrilled by the way, with the amount of holes I did put into the walls... he spent most of Friday puttying up my mess. I informed him that he is more than welcome to do all the hammering and hanging up in the next house :) We are decluttering and throwing away even more than we did in the last move... how is it that we accumulate so much stuff in so little time? I am sure you can all relate. Blows my mind! So, anyway besides packing and taking care all of that fun moving stuff here is what we have been up to...
Last weekend Deagan and I drove up to Snowflake. I had to take my mom's Tahoe back so we headed up the mountain Friday morning. Dev stayed behind because he had to work and he had made plans with Greg to go paragliding (his newest hobby). Amanda and Jessie and their families were coming up for the weekend as well so we made plans to do some more crafts. Dev surprised us and showed up Saturday morning. It was a very nice surprise and Deagan was happy to see his Daddy. The next day we had Sunday dinner and Dev got a few good games of woofle ball in and headed back down the mountain. Deagan and I stayed behind so I could finish my crafts. Since Dane had a game in Payson on Tuesday we were going to catch a ride with Mike and Melissa to that and Dev would meet us there. On Monday, Mike had the backhoe down at his house and called to see if Deagan wanted to ride in it... of course I had to take him down so he could ride in it. He was so excited to ride in the tractor and has been talking about it ever since.
He looks so tiny in that big ol' piece of equipment!
His favorite place in the world... behind the wheel!

I only got to finish one of my crafts so I will have to post some pics of the other one later. I love love love doing crafts and I am so grateful to Jolene for getting everything together for us, she's awesome. Grandad is awesome too, I have decided that he can make pretty much anything! Our family picture will go in the middle of the frame.

I made these last week and thought they turned out pretty cute so I thought I would share.

It was great to see everyone again, and we hope to be seeing you all soon. Thanks Mom and Alan for letting us stay with you :) We love you all.
We got home Tuesday night and Deagan and Zoe were so excited to be home, they were bouncing off the walls. I was excited too, it is always nice to come home and sleep in my own bed. But, I knew that I had a busy week ahead of me, which I was not looking forward to. Deagan and I woke up the next morning sick and hardly got out of bed all day Wednesday, so that slowed things down even more. I felt better the next day, but Deagan is still fighting it off. Poor little guy, I hate seeing him sick. I much prefer the happy, loud Deagan that is constantly making messes to the sad, mopey, red cheeked Deagan who doesn't want to do anything but lay in bed all day and watch Cars. Although, it has been nice to cuddle with him these past few days. Hopefully he will start feeling better soon. The rest of our week consisted of cleaning things out, packing, running errands, cleaning, cleaning and CLEANING! And I think that is how things are going to be for awhile around here... I will post if anything fun does happen to occur though :)
We are definitely excited and ready to move into our very own new home. It will be so nice when the time finally does come. I have learned a lot during this long, and painful process and I am still learning a lot! It is not easy that is for sure, but I know it will be so worth it when it is finally all said and done. Meanwhile, I know everything will fall into place as it should and there is really nothing to stress over, but it is difficult not to when you have a list of about 17 things that need to be done within the next couple of weeks staring you in the face EVERYDAY! Haha. Anyway, I hope you all had a good weekend and have a fantastic week :) Here are some random pictures of Deagan that we have taken recently. I love taking picture of my baby boy, I want to capture every little fun memory of him.

Dev's Exciting Week!
This week Dev got a great opportunity to work with the hotstick crew out of Flagstaff. They were working on the 230 kv structures, which are around 75 ft. tall, replacing poles and arms. The drive in was almost six hours so they had to be flown in and out by helicopter everyday. He took some really cool pictures and got some neat video. Deagan and I went to pick him up at the airport a few times and he thought it was so cool to see Daddy get out of the big "hepitoter." Dev has been getting to do some really cool things over here in Cottonwood. He loves his job and works so hard. I am so proud of him.
