And Then There Were 3

We got a very good Christmas present this year. Our sweet little Treslee Grace arrived at 1:56 on the morning of December 19, 2011. She was our biggest baby weighing 5 lbs. 13 oz. She was 18 in. long and perfect.

The boys LOVE her. Deagan especially can't get enough of her and wants to hold her every chance he gets.

We are so happy she is finally here and happy and healthy. It has been so fun to have a sweet girly in our home. We love and adore her to pieces. We are so blessed to have three healthy and beautiful children. Life is wonderful.

Thanksgiving

I can't believe Thanksgiving has already came and went and Christmas is just a few weeks away. Seeing all these holidays come and go is bittersweet. Our Thanksgiving was definitely different this year. Instead of heading up North like we do pretty much every year we were home. Deagan went to the valley with Melissa, Riley and Dane. We decided to let him go since he has been stuck at home with me since I have been on bedrest. He needed to get away and have some fun. And he did. So even though we missed him so much we were glad he got to go play.

We ordered our dinner from Frys so it was all cooked it just needed to be warmed up. It was really really good. It came with turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, stuffing, rolls and a pumpkin pie. Then Dev made green bean casserole, deviled eggs and salad. He did awesome. We definitely had plenty to eat. And for days after. It was still a very special Thanksgiving but we sure missed everyone.

Resting with Dad after our big meal.

Grandma and Grandad were here with us this week and we were spoiled with lots of yummy food and some homemade hot chocolate and whip cream! The boys were lovin' it.

I definitely have a lot to be thankful for. I am especially thankful for our family and friends who have been so amazing over these past couple of months. They have all gone above and beyond to help out and make sure that our little Treslee gets here healthy. I am so thankful to have made it this far in the pregnancy. When all this started I never thought I would make it this far... but I have and it is all because of everyone's help and prayers. So, thank you. I could never say it enough. And, I am so thankful for my amazing husband. He has been so great through all of this. Working hard everyday and then coming home and taking on my load as well. He impresses me everyday. And hasn't complained once. He made our whole Thanksgiving dinner and finished all our Christmas shopping. He is definitely a keeper. Love him so much!

I am 34 weeks and 3 days. Only a couple more weeks to go. I wouldn't say it has gotten any easier. It gets harder to say goodbye to Treyden everytime he goes to Snowflake and I miss him more and more. And it is hard to not be able to play and do fun things with Deagan like we used to but we have made it this far and I know we can do a couple more weeks. And Treslee is worth it all. We are all so excited to meet her.

Tuesday

Tuesday has become my favorite day of the week. Every Tuesday marks another week that I am still pregnant. I look forward to reading my email from baby center telling me I have made it another week and reading about all the new developments little Treslee has made over the week. By now she is weighing about 3 lbs and is about 16 inches long. 5 more weeks and we will be safe, but I will gladly take more! The longer she stays inside me the better developed she will be. And that is all we want... for her to get here healthy and happy.

Meanwhile these two healthy, happy boys have been spending a lot of time with their Daddy which they have LOVED. It is getting colder which means they will be going out every chance they get to call in a fox, coyote or bobcat. They have already made their first kill of the season. And they were so proud...

They also managed to get a couple quail.

Halloween was fun. Can't believe it has already came and went. We weren't very prepared... but we made do. Dev picked the boys up some costumes on his way home from work one day. He got Deagan a Sponge Bob costume and Treyden a Scooby Doo costume. Deag wore his costume to his party at school but decided he wanted to wear his motocross costume trick or treating... yes, the same one he has wore the last two years. Haha. I don't know how it still fits. It wont next year that's for sure. We have definitely gotten our moneys worth out of that costume. Treyden's Scooby Doo costume ended up being too small which was a real bummer because it was so cute. But, we used what we had and he was a hunter... he was fine with it. Hopefully next year we will be better prepared... They had so much fun anyway and got a lot of candy. Thanks Riley for driving! Here is our motocross racer and little hunter.

30 Weeks

I am 30 weeks along now and on my 5th week of bed rest. I have atleast 6 more weeks to go. It is rare that I have makeup on or am out of my sweats these days so I decided since I had a doctors appointment yesterday I better take a belly picture while I looked decent! Deagan was my photographer. He did a pretty good job.

My appointment went well. We got to do an ultrasound which is always fun. She wasn't really in the mood to have her picture taken so we didn't get very good pictures but from what I could see she looks a lot like Devin and Deagan. But, when I showed Devin he said she looks like Treyden. Haha. So, it will be interesting to see who she really does look like! I think we finally decided on a name for this little girl. Treslee Grace. Treslee was going to be Treyden's name if he was a girl. We have always loved that name. I think her name has always been Treslee I just kept thinking I would hear something else I liked better, but I haven't so far. So as of right now that is her name. We are so excited to meet this sweet little girl.

I asked my Dr. if I would be allowed to travel for Thanksgiving and he said no. I was expecting him to say no, but hoping he might say yes. So, I am pretty bummed about that. I am not sure what we are going to do... I wish we had a big house and everyone could come here! We will make it work though. And it will still be special.

October went by pretty fast so hopefully November will too! Every week is a blessing and we are so grateful. Thank you everyone who has been helping us out and for all the prayers. We couldn't do this without you!

5 weeks down 6 more to go. We can do it Treslee!

Today

Today has been an emotional day. All good emotions though. We started off the day by sending this big boy off to his first day of school!

He wasn't too happy about waking up early and it took him awhile to get out of bed, but once he was up and had his breakfast he was ready to roll. Clothes and shoes on, and back-pack ready to go. He was so excited. Once we got to his school the morning went by quick, and it was time to say good-bye. It was hard, and I was fighting the tears. I gave him a quick hug and kiss so I didn't embarass him. I kept asking him if he was ok, and he kept saying "yes, mom..." he wasn't the least bit sad to see me go. I watched him for awhile through the windows. He sat there so proud and ready for his big day... I was so excited for him and yet so nervous. I found this poem the other day and thought it was perfect. I'm pretty sure this is how every mom feels on their childs first day of school.

I wonder what you're doing right now
And if everyone is treating you kind.
I hope there's a special person,
A nice friend that you can find.

I wonder if the teacher knows

Just how special you are to me.

And if the brightness of your heart

Is something he can see.

I wonder if you are thinking about me,

And if you need a hug.

I already miss the sound of your voice

And how you give my leg a tug.

I wonder if you could possibly understand

How hard it is for me to let you grow.

On this day know that my heart breaks,

For this is the first step in letting my baby go.

He did great and had so much fun. I asked him what he did and he said,

"Well, we wrote A LOT of papers, I drew a picture of our family, I raised my hand to go to the bathroom, we had recess AND I am the ONLY boy at my table!"
Haha. Sounds like a good day to me.

He showed me the picture he drew of our family and it had everyone, including the baby in my tummy. He told me who everyone was and then he stopped when he got to himself and said, "Oh crap! I forgot to draw my arms!"

Love this little boy so much and I am so very very proud of him. He is growing up so fast, but it has been so much fun. I hope he loves school and that he makes a lot of friends. I can't wait to hear about the new things he learns. Way to go Deagan!

I also had a dr. appt today and we found out what we are having which is so exciting! 4:00 took forever to get here. But, it didn't take long for the dr. to see that we are having a sweet little baby GIRL! We are so so excited. The boys have been wanting a baby sister since they found out about the baby. I have felt like it was a girl the whole time, but wasn't sure if it was just because I wanted one so bad. It will be so fun to have another girl in the family that I can do girl stuff with. We are so blessed and so very grateful. Today has been a perfect day.

Finally An Update!

Well we survived the big rotation. Dev is finally home! He has actually been home for a few weeks, I just haven't gotten around to posting about it. It has been so nice having him back home and being together as a family again. We sure missed him.

Our little Treyden decided he was ready to wear his big boy pants and was potty trained in about 2 days. He had a good teacher (his big brother) to show him how its done. He is pretty proud of himself, but not as proud as I am. Next step is getting him into a big boy bed!

We also got a new puppy. Her name is Bella. She is pretty sweet. The boys love her. They have had so much fun playing with her, Zoe is getting pretty lazy already and not as interested in playing with them anymore as she used to be. I was against the whole idea when Dev told me he wanted to get one. I finally got Treyden potty trained and now I have to potty train a puppy... I don't think so! But, I gave in. And here she is...

(she looks a little dirty cuz her and the boys were playing in the water.)

And here is Miss Zoe, its been a week and she is still pretty mad about the whole idea... hopefully she comes around. Haha.

And Deagan has his first day of kindergarten tomorrow! I can hardly believe it. He doesn't seem old enough... It has been fun shopping for everything he needs and getting him all ready. We had an open house at his school the other night and he got to meet the kids in his class and check everything out. He is going to have so much fun, I am so excited for him. I asked him what he is excited for the most and his answer was, " To cross the monkey bars the whole way!" Haha. So Deagan, recess will be the best part of his day I'm sure. I am sure I will be a mess dropping him off. I get teary eyed just thinking about it... I don't know what I will do without him all morning. Me or Treyden. One things for sure, things will be quiet until he gets home at 11:45.

As for me, I am feeling so much better and my energy is coming back. We are all happy about that! I am two days shy of being 19 weeks and we get to find out what we are having tomorrow! I can't wait. None of us can. We all think it's a girl so if it turns out to be a boy we will all be surprised, but so happy either way.

Oh how I love these 2 sweet boys. I love everything about them, especially those adorable dirty faces. It is so funny how different they both are. Total opposites. It will be interesting to see what this new baby is going to be like.

Yep, I'm pregnant! Most of you already know but if not SURPRISE! Hancock baby #3 is due Jan. 10th and we couldn't be more happy.

Deagan is so excited. He wants a baby sister. Dev and I remind him that it could also be a baby brother and he doesn't like that idea so much. Haha. Treyden doesn't really care. We ask him if he wants a new baby and he says no. So, it will be interesting to see how he is going to be with a new baby in the house...

I have been feeling pretty good this time around. Just tired and a little nautious every once in awhile. I keep waiting for myself to feel really sick, but it hasnt happened yet. I am really hoping it stays that way.
