Tricks and Treats

Tuesday night we had one of our favorite families over for dinner. I made Pioneer Womans Fettuccine, and it was superb! So yummy. Everyone loved it, even the kids. And a recipe that is approved by kids (especially mine) is a winner in my book. Every recipe of hers I have ever made has been so good though. Love her. After dinner we had a little Halloween story and decorated pumpkins. It was so much fun.

Wednesday was HALLOWEEN! So we got the kids all dressed up and headed out to gather our candy. The boys looked so good... thank you Pinterest :) And Treslee looked adorable. She loved her costume and probably would have wore it it to bed if I let her.

Thursday was a miserable day. I was sick with a fever of 103 and pretty much didn't get off the couch all day. It was terrible. I don't know how we made it until Dev got home from work, but we did. Thank goodness for the purple balloon Treyden found in our yard that morning. It kept him and Treslee entertained all day.

Friday and Saturday I had plans to go to Time Out for Women with my friend Molli so I was so happy when I woke up feeling much better. What an amazing experience. It was so neat to be in a room full of women who are facing the same challenges I face everyday as a mother, a wife, and as a woman. It was so refreshing to be reminded tha everyone has bad days, and we are not all perfect. And that what we are doing is ok, that it is enough. Every talk was so powerful and touched my heart in so many ways. The spirit was so strong in that room. I am so grateful to my father in heaven for all he has blessed me with in my life. I am grateful for every challenge and failure because of what it has taught me. I know that I am his daughter and that he loves me and each and every one of us. And he knows us so much better than we know ourselves. I learned so much at Time Out for Women. I am so grateful I was able to go. I didn't realize how much I needed to be there. So, BIG THANKS to the hubby for holding down the fort and watching the kiddos so I could. It was such a fun weekend. I laughed a lot and cried even more. A lot more. But isn't that was we women do?!

Time Our for Women 2012.

P.S.
While I was gone Treslee decided to take her first steps :( I cried over that too.

3 months old

Miss Treslee is already 3 months old and I can hardly believe it. These past 3 months have gone by so quickly. It is definitely bittersweet seeing her grow and change. Knowing that she will most likely be our last little one I have been trying so hard to enjoy every little sweet moment. She is such a good baby and it has been such a joy having her in our family. She fits in perfectly and it is hard to imagine what it was ever like without her here.

She is so happy and smiley. She loves to snuggle in her soft blankets and sucks her thumb every now and then... She loves bathtime. And she loves her brothers, she gives them big smiles whenever they talk to her. But, she definitely gives her Daddy the biggest smiles. We love you Treslee Grace. Happy 3 months baby girl!

Family Time

I have really been slacking on my posting but I have quickly come to realize that life with 3 kids is BUSY!  My house is always a mess, the laundry is never done, someone is always hungry or crying and there is always somewhere we need to be!  But, I wouldn't trade it!  I love these 3 more than anything.  They are so much fun and remind me daily what a special blessing it is to be a mother.  Treslee is growing so fast.  I can hardly believe she is already 12 weeks old.  She is so sweet and so fun to love on.  Her cheeks are constantly getting kissed by all of us.  She is so smiley and has been making all kinds of little squeaks and coos.  We have loved having this sweet little girly a part of our family.

We have been taking advantage of the nice weather we've had by taking lots of family walks. Last week we went down by the creek. The boys loved it. They wanted to jump in the water so bad. It was a lot of fun. I love making fun memories like these together. I feel so blessed to have such a sweet family. I love them all so much.

Love those cheesy smiles

Treslee had it made. Haha these pictures are so funny.

Love them all

And Then There Were 3

We got a very good Christmas present this year. Our sweet little Treslee Grace arrived at 1:56 on the morning of December 19, 2011. She was our biggest baby weighing 5 lbs. 13 oz. She was 18 in. long and perfect.

The boys LOVE her. Deagan especially can't get enough of her and wants to hold her every chance he gets.

We are so happy she is finally here and happy and healthy. It has been so fun to have a sweet girly in our home. We love and adore her to pieces. We are so blessed to have three healthy and beautiful children. Life is wonderful.

Thanksgiving

I can't believe Thanksgiving has already came and went and Christmas is just a few weeks away. Seeing all these holidays come and go is bittersweet. Our Thanksgiving was definitely different this year. Instead of heading up North like we do pretty much every year we were home. Deagan went to the valley with Melissa, Riley and Dane. We decided to let him go since he has been stuck at home with me since I have been on bedrest. He needed to get away and have some fun. And he did. So even though we missed him so much we were glad he got to go play.

We ordered our dinner from Frys so it was all cooked it just needed to be warmed up. It was really really good. It came with turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, stuffing, rolls and a pumpkin pie. Then Dev made green bean casserole, deviled eggs and salad. He did awesome. We definitely had plenty to eat. And for days after. It was still a very special Thanksgiving but we sure missed everyone.

Resting with Dad after our big meal.

Grandma and Grandad were here with us this week and we were spoiled with lots of yummy food and some homemade hot chocolate and whip cream! The boys were lovin' it.

I definitely have a lot to be thankful for. I am especially thankful for our family and friends who have been so amazing over these past couple of months. They have all gone above and beyond to help out and make sure that our little Treslee gets here healthy. I am so thankful to have made it this far in the pregnancy. When all this started I never thought I would make it this far... but I have and it is all because of everyone's help and prayers. So, thank you. I could never say it enough. And, I am so thankful for my amazing husband. He has been so great through all of this. Working hard everyday and then coming home and taking on my load as well. He impresses me everyday. And hasn't complained once. He made our whole Thanksgiving dinner and finished all our Christmas shopping. He is definitely a keeper. Love him so much!

I am 34 weeks and 3 days. Only a couple more weeks to go. I wouldn't say it has gotten any easier. It gets harder to say goodbye to Treyden everytime he goes to Snowflake and I miss him more and more. And it is hard to not be able to play and do fun things with Deagan like we used to but we have made it this far and I know we can do a couple more weeks. And Treslee is worth it all. We are all so excited to meet her.

Tuesday

Tuesday has become my favorite day of the week. Every Tuesday marks another week that I am still pregnant. I look forward to reading my email from baby center telling me I have made it another week and reading about all the new developments little Treslee has made over the week. By now she is weighing about 3 lbs and is about 16 inches long. 5 more weeks and we will be safe, but I will gladly take more! The longer she stays inside me the better developed she will be. And that is all we want... for her to get here healthy and happy.

Meanwhile these two healthy, happy boys have been spending a lot of time with their Daddy which they have LOVED. It is getting colder which means they will be going out every chance they get to call in a fox, coyote or bobcat. They have already made their first kill of the season. And they were so proud...

They also managed to get a couple quail.

Halloween was fun. Can't believe it has already came and went. We weren't very prepared... but we made do. Dev picked the boys up some costumes on his way home from work one day. He got Deagan a Sponge Bob costume and Treyden a Scooby Doo costume. Deag wore his costume to his party at school but decided he wanted to wear his motocross costume trick or treating... yes, the same one he has wore the last two years. Haha. I don't know how it still fits. It wont next year that's for sure. We have definitely gotten our moneys worth out of that costume. Treyden's Scooby Doo costume ended up being too small which was a real bummer because it was so cute. But, we used what we had and he was a hunter... he was fine with it. Hopefully next year we will be better prepared... They had so much fun anyway and got a lot of candy. Thanks Riley for driving! Here is our motocross racer and little hunter.

30 Weeks

I am 30 weeks along now and on my 5th week of bed rest. I have atleast 6 more weeks to go. It is rare that I have makeup on or am out of my sweats these days so I decided since I had a doctors appointment yesterday I better take a belly picture while I looked decent! Deagan was my photographer. He did a pretty good job.

My appointment went well. We got to do an ultrasound which is always fun. She wasn't really in the mood to have her picture taken so we didn't get very good pictures but from what I could see she looks a lot like Devin and Deagan. But, when I showed Devin he said she looks like Treyden. Haha. So, it will be interesting to see who she really does look like! I think we finally decided on a name for this little girl. Treslee Grace. Treslee was going to be Treyden's name if he was a girl. We have always loved that name. I think her name has always been Treslee I just kept thinking I would hear something else I liked better, but I haven't so far. So as of right now that is her name. We are so excited to meet this sweet little girl.

I asked my Dr. if I would be allowed to travel for Thanksgiving and he said no. I was expecting him to say no, but hoping he might say yes. So, I am pretty bummed about that. I am not sure what we are going to do... I wish we had a big house and everyone could come here! We will make it work though. And it will still be special.

October went by pretty fast so hopefully November will too! Every week is a blessing and we are so grateful. Thank you everyone who has been helping us out and for all the prayers. We couldn't do this without you!

5 weeks down 6 more to go. We can do it Treslee!
