Fun Week

The pool has been a big hit... we use it almost everyday. I feel much better about it now that we have a safety lock on the back door. Deagan had Castin and Tanner come over last Wednesday to try it out. I think they had fun...

That was the highlight of the week. Thanks boys for coming over and playing... come again soon!

For the weekend we went down to the valley on Saturday so I could my hair done... and while I did that Dev and the boys went to Sportman's. Deagan LOVES it there... why? Well, because

they have little carts just his size. He loads his cart up with whatever he likes... so while he loaded it as quick as he could and Dev unloaded it just as fast... after that they went to a couple other places. Then, it was time to come back and get me and we all went to lunch at Peter Piper Pizza... While Deagan drove the cars... which is pretty much the ONLY thing he does there, Dev and I got hooked on the Deal or no Deal game... I actually only played once and let Treyden pick my case, and I won 200 tickets!! Imagine if it was the real deal, Dev and I would be millionaires! Ha. Thanks Treyden, good choice. So, we ate pizza and used up all our tokens and then we traded in all our tickets for a couple of cheap toys that Deagan has already broken... And we headed home. It was a fun Saturday... Deagan and I especially loved it... I got to relax and get my hair done and he got to go crazy with his Daddy and his brother...

Then it was church on Sunday. Doesn't Deagan looked so thrilled to be going??

"Mom this is the funnest pool ever... can I drive my truck in it?"

We finally bought a pool. It is about the only way we can be outside at all during the day. It is so hot here and getting hotter. I feel for all you valley people... we are not quite as hot as you are but not far behind. Deagan loves it. He would be out there all day if I would let him... It is so nice having it, but it kind of makes me nervous... even though it is not very deep it doesnt take much water at all for something tragic to happen. Dev and I have told Deagan over and over that he is not to be out there without someone else, and he has had swimming lessons before, but still. But,besides that we are loving it. Treyden even got to enjoy it for a little bit today... and loved it... of course. He loves everything. And we also found out that Zoe is a pretty good swimmer... haha. Deagan got a kick out of that. Poor Zoe. So, instead of sitting inside all day we will be outside where we love to be. And the best part of it all is how quickly it wears Deagan out! I didn't know anything could do that.

6 months, 1/2 a year, 181 days...

... any way I put it is still sad. Our baby is growing up so fast. I know I say this every month but 6 months is huge. Before we know he will be one! It seems like we were just anxiously waiting his arrival. Treyden has brought so much joy into our lives. He is such a happy baby and so much fun. It is so exciting to watch him discover new things. He is rolling over like crazy and is just about to sit up on his own. He still loves his baby cereal and loves baby food... everything except applesauce. He is growing like crazy, I can't believe how big he is... I love it. I love his big chubby cheeks, his rolls and his dimpled hands. He is so sweet. It has been so much fun to have him in our home... he is laughing and smiling like crazy... here is a video of him laughing at Dev.

AH! I love love love that boy's laugh. It is so cute. We actually have video... somewhere... of Deagan when he was about this age laughing at the exact same thing. It is so fun to see the similarities between the two of them. In some ways they are just alike, and in some ways they are SO different. We are so blessed to have two happy, healthy boys.

I found a new way to clean my floors... and it's earth friendly :)

Zoe loves to do stuff like this, I don't know why. She is such a funny dog... no wonder Deagan loves her so much. This is my brother in the video. He is with us for the week.

The quality isn't the best... I used my phone, and I couldn't get the sound to work... I don't know if it was just our computer or what... But I thought it was still pretty funny. Crazy dog.

All essentials to a fun family reunion! This last weekend we went camping for our family reunion. We got there Thursday night and left Sunday afternoon. It was so fun, but boy was I ready to take a shower.There is nothing better than a hot shower and sleeping in my own bed after 3 1/2 days of camping. I hardly took any pictures... I was lame and not in the mood. I am kicking myself now but here are the 2 I took.

Little Treyden. He was so good... he just chilled the whole time, never made a peep.

It was so good to see everyone, we don't get together that often so when we do it is always fun. We missed those who couldn't make it though... Deagan had a blast! Of course... outside ALL DAY, playing in the dirt, pushing his dump truck... he loved it.

Family Pics.

We got our family pictures done a couple weeks ago... my grandma bought us a package for Christmas like two years ago... and we are just now getting them done. Haha. Ridiculous I know, but atleast now Treyden got to be in them :) It was really windy, but I think they still turned out pretty good. Anyway... these two were my favorite.
